World Population Day 2009

FIGHT POVERTY : EDUCATE GIRLS

Here's my miniature contribution to World Population Day! Let's ignore the fact that I didn't know that today was World Population Day until yesterday.

I live in America where attending high school is an obligated right, and going to college is expected of you. In my case I pay for my own college tuition without any help from my family but with the scholarships and aids available to me, it's not an impossible feat despite the occasional naps I take in class because I'm still tired from work (´つз-)｡O.ﾟ｡. Which is why I wanted to spread the word about this year's theme. "Build(ing) awareness of the importance of educating girls to a wide range of development issues, including poverty, human rights and gender equality." It really gives you something to think about. (ﾟｰﾟ*?)

Other than that...

Ironically, I was planning to live in Japan for the next few months but I was hired back with the company I used to work for. (^-^;;;) *Sighs* I really shouldn't complain about finding a job. If anyone noticed that I am rarely online as of late, that is the reason. Our work schedules are crazy... great time to become sick. o(>0< )o Well, that and the fact that I recently moved and had chaos for the first few weeks.
